Information We Collect

When you make a purchase, we collect your name, email address, and payment information through our payment processor. We never see or store your full credit card number — payment data is handled entirely by our PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor.

When you use the AI FDD Analyzer, you paste text from your Franchise Disclosure Document into our tool. This text is processed in real-time by our AI analysis engine to generate your report.

How We Use Your Information

Your email address is used to deliver your purchase and for transactional communications related to your order. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.

FDD text you paste into the analyzer is used solely to generate your analysis. It is sent to our AI processing partner via encrypted connection and is not stored by us after your report is generated. Our AI processing partner's commercial terms prohibit using API-submitted data for model training.

AI Data Processing

We use a commercial AI API to process FDD text for analysis. Here is how your data is handled:

Processing: Your FDD text is sent via encrypted HTTPS for real-time analysis only. The text is used to generate your report and is not retained by our systems.

No model training: Our AI partner's commercial API terms explicitly prohibit using submitted data to train or improve AI models. This applies to all text you submit through our tools.

Limited safety retention: Our AI partner may retain inputs for up to 30 days for trust and safety monitoring only, after which data is deleted.

No storage on our servers: We do not store your FDD text. Once your analysis is complete, the submitted text is not retained by Franchise-Grade Systems.

Data Retention

Payment records are retained as required by tax and accounting regulations. Your FDD text is not stored after your analysis session ends.

Third-Party Services

We use third-party service providers to operate our business, including a payment processor, an AI analysis partner, a website hosting provider, and an email communications platform. Each operates under its own privacy policy. We do not sell or share your information with these providers for any purpose other than delivering the service you requested.

Cookies and Analytics

We use functional cookies necessary for site operation. We use anonymized site analytics to understand how the site is used and improve the product. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Your browsing behavior is never sold or shared with any third party.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at hello@franchisegradesystems.com. Note that we may need to retain certain records for legal and accounting purposes.

Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Payment processing is handled by a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor. We do not store sensitive payment information on our servers.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
